Brooks Landscapes Tauranga had the privilege of completing the recent Landscape design and Landscape works for the new Design Build Omokoroa Show Home. The brief was to design a Japanese inspired oasis and when you view “Utsukushii Uchi”you will see this influence.
We work closely with our suppliers and a special mention must go to Claudia and the team at ArtiZen who supplied the beautiful range of pom-poms and cloud-pruned plants. The quality of their plants and their expertise helped us create a striking and modern designed landscape.

We fell in love with a pair of blue totora that matched exactly to our plans
When we decided to build our dream home in 2019, we had very specific plans for a pair of feature cloud-pruned niwaki trees for the entrance way. We had been keeping an eye on ArtiZen for some time, and always planned to visit when the house was ready. Claudia was very accommodating in arranging a time for us to view her beautifully presented trees, and although there was an abundance of options, we fell in love with a pair of blue totora that matched exactly to our plans.
Claudia gave us great advice as to how to care for our new trees, and arranged delivery to fit our schedule. We believe the results speak for themselves – they are absolutely beautiful, they are easy care (we use an automated watering system), and they are growing well. Additionally, we are very happy to see nature embrace our additions – with a pair of thrush currently nesting in one. We could not be happier with our experience, and we highly recommend Claudia and ArtiZen.

I purchased two Totora pom pom trees from the lovely Claudia at Standards of Excellence and was super happy with the quality. I could really see the labour of love that had gone into the trees and so could others! So much so three more have been ordered for the daughter-in-laws garden. A local gem.
